2012 - Calendar History

This year was Y'Chessa Dahli performed at Rakkasah West, one of largest Middle Eastern Events that brings in performers from all over the world. The troupe performed Belly-Lounge in black velvet Breakfast at Tiffani's look.

In addition, the troupe performed at their usual venues (Bellevue Strawberry Festival, Mediterranean Fantasy Festival, Hasani Hafla) and other locations as a troupe or individually.

2011 - Calendar History

This year was Y'Chessa Dahli's 10th anniversary; original and current 5 members included Constance, Jaree Dahia, Katrina, Phaedra Nicholle, and Zena. A Hafla was held to celebrate this 10 years together with workshops, vendors, entertainment and cake.

In addition, the troupe performed at their usual venues (Bellevue Strawberry Festival, Mediterranean Fantasy Festival, Hasani Hafla) and other locations as a troupe or individually. The troupe also participated at a benefit show for the University Family YMCA.

2010 - Calendar History

This year was Y'Chessa Dahli performed in tribal-traditional fusion. Costumes were made by Nabeela El Shalimar and had had custom hand-made vests and belts.

In addition, the troupe performed at their usual venues (Bellevue Strawberry Festival, Mediterranean Fantasy Festival, Hasani Hafla) and other locations as a troupe or individually. The troupe also participated at a benefit show for the University Family YMCA.

2009 - Calendar History
Y'Chessa Dahli performed at annual Festival Sundiata African American Celebration, Juneteenth Celebration, Bellevue Strawberry Festival, and Mediterranean Fantasy Festival. The troupe also participated at International Communicty Health Services (ICHS) Annual Celebration benefit and the "For the People" El Centro de la Raza Fundraiser at SpiceBox Theater. Troupe members also performed individually at various events locally and outside Puget Sound area.

In addition, Constance Denson Hamilton and Y'Chessa Dahli presented The Seven Dancing Sultanas at the IKEA Performing Arts Center in Renton WA. This a a show that showcases dancers and other performers from the area in a middle eastern fairy tale, where people can take their families to watch various dance forms, martial artists, and more.

2008 - Calendar History
Y'Chessa Dahli performed at annual Festival Sundiata African American Celebration, Bellevue Strawberry Festival, and Mediterranean Fantasy Festival. The troupe also participated at International Communicty Health Services (ICHS) Annual Celebration benefit. The Troupe was also invited to perform at "Electric Oasis" and "Mistress of the Storm" shows this year as well. In addition, Troupe members performed individually at various events locally and outside Puget Sound area.

Y'Chessa Dahli performed at annual Festival Sundiata African American Celebration, Bellevue Strawberry Festival, Mediterranean Fantasy Festival, and Arab Festival. The troupe also participated at International Communicty Health Services (ICHS) Annual Celebration benefit and YMCA Benefit at University Heights Community Center. The Troupe was also invited to perform at Night of Belly Dance in Poulsbo and Jim Boz Show shows this year as well. In addition, Troupe members performed individually at various events locally and outside Puget Sound area.

Y'Chessa Dahli Middle Eastern Dance Ensemble production of The Seven Dancing Sultanas benefit show for UJIMA Community Services. This showcases dancers and other performers from the area in a middle eastern fairy tale, and where people can take their families to watch various dance forms, martial artists, and more.

Y'Chessa Dahli performed at annual Festival Sundiata African American Celebration, Bellevue Strawberry Festival, and Mediterranean Fantasy Festival. The troupe was also invited to perform at Powers of Bellydance Conference in Yakima WA. The troupe also participated at YMCA Benefit at University Heights Community Center. In addition, Troupe members performed individually at various events locally and outside Puget Sound area.

2005 - Calendar History
Y'Chessa Dahli performed at annual Festival Sundiata African American Celebration, Juneteenth Celebration, Bellevue Strawberry Festival, and Mediterranean Fantasy Festival. The troupe was also invited to perform at Saqra's Showcase Hillsboro. In addition, Troupe members performed individually at various events locally and outside Puget Sound area.

2004 - Calendar History
Y'Chessa Dahli performed at Saqra's 1st Saturday of the Month open Dance, annual Festival Sundiata African American Celebration, Hasani's Hafla in Gig Harbor, Sunrise Indian Cuisine Restaurant, Showcase at Cafe Ibex, Saqra's Showcase Festival 2004, and the Kent Heritage Festival in Kent. In addition, Troupe members performed individually at various events locally and outside Puget Sound area.

This was the 1st year that Y'Chessa Dahli performed at Rakkasah West, one of largest Middle Eastern Events that brings in performers from all over the world. The troupe performed traditional dance wearing black sparkling dresses. This performance the full 7 members of the troupe participated: Constance, Jaree Dahia, Katrina, Phaedra Nicholle, Zena, Sana Olwi, and Zipporah Al Jahara.

2003
The beginning and creation of Y'Chessa Dahli. The original Members included: Constance, Jaree Dahia, Katrina, Phaedra Nicholle, Zena, Sana Olwi and Zipporah Al Jahara. Troupe members attended classes with Nabeela El Shalimar at the Renton-Maple Valley Aqua Barn. Before the troupe, members performed at various festivals, halfas, and events. Many were part of other dance troupes in the Puget Sound Area.
